Paper 1 – Primary Stage (Class I to V)

Passed in 10+2 with minimum 50% in aggregate from CBSE or equivalent recognized board of education and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education
OR
Passed in Senior Secondary with minimum 45% in aggregate from CBSE or equivalent recognized board of education and either pursuing or completed D.Ed under NCTE.
OR
They must have at least 45% marks in their Senior Secondary or equivalent examination as per NCTE Regulations, 2002. passed or appearing in final year of their 2 year Diploma course in Elementary Education.
OR
They may also be in the final year of their 4 year degree course of Bachelor of Elementary Education. However, they must have passed their Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks.

Paper 2 – Secondary Stage (Class VI to VIII)

Graduation Degree Passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
50% in Graduation and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education
OR
Must have passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education with at least 45% marks in graduation as per NCTE Regulations.
OR
Candidates may have At Least 50% marks in their Senior Secondary or equivalent examination.
OR
Passed or appearing in final year of their 4-year BA/B.Sc. Ed OR B.A. Ed / B.Sc. Ed. They must have passed their Senior Secondary or its equivalent with At Least 50%.
OR
Candidates may have At Least 50% Iin Graduation with 50% At Least Marks or appearing in the 1-year B. Ed (Special Education)
